About Nagoyish

I’m Ray Larabie, a Canadian type designer living in Nagoya, Japan, since 2008. You might know my work through Typodermic Fonts. Nagoyish is where I keep my photographs.

There are shopfronts, signs, plants, pipes, old walls, and things whose original purpose is becoming difficult to establish. Taken together, they’re a very particular view of an everyday city.

I’ve grouped the photos into collections to make wandering through them a little easier. Some have a theme. Others have a title that’s doing most of the work.

Have a look around. There are several thousand images of at least mild interest.
